How to get goerliETH?

To interact with LiquiShield, our decentralized exchange (DEX) project, on the Goerli Testnet, you'll need goerliETH tokens to simulate the use of Ether (ETH) in a test environment. In this guide, we'll explain how to obtain goerliETH tokens for testing purposes.

a. QuickNode Faucet

The QuickNode faucet is a reliable and widely used service that offers goerliETH tokens. Follow these steps to obtain goerliETH tokens using the QuickNode faucet:

  1. Visit the QuickNode faucet website: https://faucet.quicknode.com/ethereum/goerli.

  2. Connect your Ethereum wallet to the QuickNode faucet by selecting the Goerli network.

  3. Click on the "Continue" button.

  4. On the faucet page, you have two options to obtain goerliETH tokens:

    • Request 0.05 goETH: Simply click on the "Request 0.05 goETH" button.

    • Tweet QuickNode template message: Click on the "Generate Tweet" button, which will redirect you to Twitter. Post the tweet with the template message provided by QuickNode.

      • After tweeting, copy the URL of your tweet.

      • Return to the QuickNode faucet page and paste the tweet URL in the provided field.

      • Click on the "Claim 0.1 goETH" button.

Please note that due to high demand, it may take some time before goerliETH tokens are sent to your Ethereum address.

Your address must hold atleast 0.001 ETH on the mainnet to be eligible for test tokens.

The Alchemy faucet is another reliable option for obtaining goerliETH tokens. Follow these steps to acquire goerliETH tokens using the Alchemy faucet:

  1. Visit the Alchemy faucet website: https://goerlifaucet.com/.

  2. If you don't have an Alchemy account, click on "Please sign up or login" and create a free account. Once you have created an account, you will be redirected back to the faucet page.

  3. On the Alchemy faucet page, paste your Goerli Testnet wallet address in the provided field.

  4. Click on the "Send me Eth" button to request goerliETH tokens.

  5. The Alchemy faucet will instantly send 0.02 goETH to your provided Goerli Testnet wallet address.

To obtain more goerliETH tokens, you can repeat the above steps with a different wallet address and a new Alchemy account. Once you have acquired goerliETH tokens with multiple addresses, you can send them to your main address for consolidated testing.

Your address must hold atleast 0.001 ETH on the mainnet to be eligible for test tokens.

c. Coinbase Faucet

The Coinbase faucet is another option for obtaining goerliETH tokens. Follow these steps to acquire goerliETH tokens using the Coinbase faucet:

  1. Visit the Coinbase faucet website: https://coinbase.com/faucets/ethereum-goerli-faucet.

  2. To use the Coinbase faucet, you need to have the Coinbase Wallet extension installed. If you don't have it, download and install the Coinbase Wallet extension for your browser.

  3. Open the Coinbase Wallet extension and create a new wallet if you don't have one already.

  4. Once your wallet is created, refresh the Coinbase faucet webpage.

  5. Enter your Goerli Testnet wallet address in the provided field on the Coinbase faucet webpage.

  6. Click on the "Get ETH" button to request goerliETH tokens.

  7. The Coinbase faucet will send 0.1 goETH tokens to your provided Goerli Testnet wallet address.

Please note that the Coinbase faucet requires the use of the Coinbase Wallet extension and provides 0.1 goETH per request.

Your address must hold atleast 0.002 ETH on the mainnet to be eligible for test tokens.

d. ENS Faucet

The ENS faucet is a unique option available for those who hold an ENS domain on the Ethereum Mainnet. Follow these steps to acquire goerliETH tokens using the ENS faucet:

  1. Visit the ENS Alpha website: http://alpha.ens.domains.

  2. Connect your Ethereum wallet by clicking on the "Connect" button and selecting your wallet provider.

  3. Ensure that your wallet is connected to the Ethereum Mainnet.

  4. Switch the network to the Goerli Testnet by selecting "Goerli" from the network switcher.

  5. Once connected to the Goerli network, you will see a notification message on the webpage stating "You have unclaimed goETH."

  6. Follow the instructions provided on the webpage to claim your goerliETH tokens.

  7. By completing the necessary steps, you will receive 0.25 goETH tokens for free.

Please note that the ENS faucet requires you to hold an ENS domain on the Ethereum Mainnet and provides 0.25 goETH per claim.

e. PK910 Goerli Faucet

The PK910 Goerli Faucet is another option to obtain goerliETH tokens. Follow these steps to acquire goerliETH tokens using the PK910 Goerli Faucet:
